Don’t Believe It Just Because It’s True

There are truths that you should absolutely ignore.

I call them “disempowering truths.”

For example, it’s true that community is hugely important in determining whether you change your health habits or not. The more you surround yourself with fit and healthy people, the more likely you are to copy them.

But if you start thinking, “Oh well, I don’t have a healthy community, so I guess I’m out of luck,” then you’ve just cursed yourself.

Josh didn’t have any kind of healthy community when he started his journey. That didn’t stop him, and it doesn’t have to stop you either.
